AIR Dance Musical Mapping. This creation was broadcasted in the background of Hip-hop dancers whose choreography is synchronized with the 3D elements. Technique used: Mograph, Voronoï fracture and animations in CINEMA 4D. After-effects Particular and Trapcode SABER for light effects. Diffusion: 40m x 8m (4 x 20K lumens).
AIR mapping (Clip). Research work on terrestrial atmospheric pollution. This mapping concerns a surface of 40m x 10m on a stage open to public audience. The soundtrack is enriched with numerous cinematic effects to reinforce a sense of urgency. The music includes elements from the Blade Runner movie soundtrack, as well as remixed additions as extras. Tools: CINEMA 4D, DAZ3D, After-Effects Particular, FCPX.
RESPIRE (Musical event). Choreographic background with creation of visual loops and multi-layered loops, VJ style. Technique: image-by-image rotoscopy using characters filmed on a green background and animated 3D dancer models. Resolume Arena and MadMapper (patterns). Final compositing on After-effects. Music: Mickey 3D. Diffusion: 40m x 8m (4 x 20K lumens)
Haute couture demo mapping. Here are three architectural wall mapping proposals intended for a communication agency. Client: catwalk designer for Winter Fashion week. Realization in 3D from plans. Tracking female models for catwalk show. Technique: Trapcode Particular, SABER, Superluminal STARDUST (After-effects plugins). Original musical creation by the studio AIVA – Artificial Intelligence.
Christmas mapping. 25m x 12m, Porte de la Gardette. Aigues-Mortes (34). For the end of the year celebrations, animation of characters, legends, tales and illuminations of decorations. Animations of a total duration of 8 min including 12 light boards. Techniques: Daz 3D, After-Effects SABER + 3D Elements, Trapcode Form + Particles. C4D, character rigging.
Bandido REMIX. Second architectural mapping during the Christmas festivities on a gate of the ramparts of Aigues-Mortes. Artistic creation from 2D & 3D animations. Abrivados, Bandidos, rasets & Attrapaïres in a luminous fresco, punctuated by original music.
Image by image Rotoscopy work from rushes shot in the region. Tool: STUDIO Artist 5, MOTION 5, VJ video loops prepared on Resolume ARENA and Light patterns on MadMapper. Diffusion: 24,000 Lumens.
MAPPING « IN THE COUNTRY OF MÉDARD ». Projection on the facade of the Musée de Lunel (20m x 11m). Historical and imaginary reconstruction in 20 virtual paintings and enriched visual content, from the archives of the Musée de Lunel. The film is a poetic, spectacular and entertaining evocation of images, iconography, sets, costumes, paintings, books, manuscripts and drawings, reshaped and animated in a dynamic way and intended for all audiences. 2D and 3D animations, effects of lights, volumes, moving textures and optical effects. Musical scenography inspired by Indian and French historical influences from the collection period. The music accompanying the animations is specially composed and enriched with dynamic sound effects and sound design, including organic sounds, transitions synchronized with the animations, voice extracts, atmospheres of places and times, textures and representations of visuals.
SOMMIÈRES TOUR. Permanent event on the Tour de Sommières (Gard) summer 2017. Architectural video mapping on a Building of France 25m high and 15m wide. Series of 2D and 3D animations symbolizing the territory and traditions, with forays into imaginary worlds. Colors and movements, paintings and dynamic architectural reproductions. Flow of sand, construction and destruction of the Tower, animation of clocks, Dragons, eagles and flames, poetic paintings, coats of arms from medieval times, giant puzzle, 3D Tetris, Camargue crosses, bulls, raseteurs and Camargue bullfighting traditions ignite the Tower of Sommières every evening from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Ornamental INDOOR mapping. Demo of an interior decorative mapping (3m x 2m). Video projection on a white wall with clipping in the shape of an Airbus A-380. Modeling of digital paintings and visual effects. This mapping can be adapted to a projection on a 3D object (model) or on a real plane (architectural multi-projection). Research work around TAPE Mapping and indoor video projections, on flat or relief surfaces.
